It’s a Party Bus Crackdown!
Oh oh! Have you heard the news? The City of Calgary is looking into imposing a crackdown on party buses, famously known as “booze cruises.”
The issue for some, city alderman seems to be that party buses represent an undesirable service for Calgarians. Not just those taking part in a night on the town inside the safety of a party bus, but also for those on the streets of Calgary.
Okay, so we’re going to try and come off as objective as possible here. The Roadhouse is always sponsoring party buses for various events and functions, in partnership with The Party Machine. Since 2002 we have been organizing, coordinating, and running party bus events with The Party Machine and they have proven to be a great way to get people together to enjoy a night out, with the safety of a designated driver runnin’ the show.
We’ve run everything from stags, to staggett’s, to birthdays, to corporate functions with the central focus being a safe, clean, social way to transport people from one place to another. It’s safe for the people on the bus, and it keeps people who have been drinking off the streets.
Enough about how party buses have helped us spread some safe fun. What are your thoughts on the prospect of Calgary Alderman cracking down on party buses?
Let us know.
